In addition to our trip to Seville, discover the cultural melting pot of Cordoba Visit the fascinating wonders like the Mezquita and the Alcazar and amble along the medieval streets of the Jewish quarter while gaining fascinating insight into the intriguing history of the city home to the second-largest old town in Europe.
Day 1 / Arriving
Arrival at Seville airport, transfer to the meeting point with the host families. You will meet the host family, have dinner with them and have time to get to know each other and exchange information.
Day 2 / Seville
During the morning, we visit the Christian Gothic Cathedral of Seville. It is the largest in the world, and was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987. Its construction has elements of the Mudejar, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical periods.
Then, we will go up to the bell tower of La Giralda, to enjoy the best views of the city. The Giralda is one of the major attractions of Seville and a must-see. It is attached to the Cathedral. At 303 feet high, it was for several centuries the highest tower in Europe. This tower of Almohade Arab origin represents almost 800 years of Spanish history and has resisted conquests, revolutions and wars, and serves as a referential point from anywhere in the city.
We continue with a walk through the streets of Barrio Santa Cruz. This is the most popular and crowded neighborhood of Sevilla, famous for its typical narrow streets, stately homes, flowered patios, the trickle of its fountains, the aroma of orange blossom, and all the charm and legends that surround it.
It is worth taking this taking your time on this walk, getting lost in its streets and squares, and enjoying any corner, shady spot, or fragrance.
During the afternoon, we will visit the Reales Alcazares. Located in the heart of the city, The Real Alcazar of Seville is one of the oldest palaces still in use in the world. A palace that has lived through different periods, being of Mudejar origin.
It is formed by rooms which are exquisitely decorated with plasterwork, tiles and coffered ceilings, which combine perfectly with the splendid gardens and water features, creating a truly memorable setting.

Day 3 / Seville
We head to the Museum of Bellas Artes in Seville, one of the most beautiful buildings in the city and one of the most important art galleries in Spain where works by Murillo, Zurbaran or Valdés Leal are on display.
We continue our journey with a visit to the “Torre del Oro”, on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, one of the stand-out symbols of the city and the current Naval Museum.
We end the morning with a boat trip on the Guadalquivir River. From the deck of the boat you can see the Bullring, the old bridges, the Triana neighborhood, the pavilions of Expo 1992 and the Ibero-American exhibition of 1929.
In the afternoon, we will visit the park of Maria Luisa. It is the most famous park in the city, offering a beautiful green area where you can breathe in some fresh air. In 1983 it was declared a Historical Garden of Cultural Interest.
We finish in the Plaza de España, at the entrance to the Parque de Maria Luisa. This square was built for the Ibero-American exhibition of 1929. It is of unparalleled beauty and has been the scene of important cinematographic productions like Star Wars or The Dictator.
We will attend a flamenco show and sample the famous tapas.
Day 4 / Cordoba
We will visit the Great Mosque of Cordoba (World Heritage Site since 1984). It is the most important monument of the entire Islamic West and one of the most amazing in the world.
We will continue our visit to Cordoba with a walk through the Judería neighborhood, the most famous part of the city where the Jews lived between the 10th and 15th centuries. We visit monuments like the Synagogue, the Zoco Municipal or the Bull-fighting Museum. It is part of the historic center of Cordoba, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1994.
Day 5 / Return home
Breakfast with family, farewell and transfer to the airport.
